Egypt qualified for the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals on Thursday with a 4-2 win over Ivory Coast, which leaves Ivorian hopes of progression in doubt.
While the Ivory Coast battled back to equalise twice, Abo and Mohamed struck in the final period to ensure themselves top spot, while Jean Soro Lohognon’s men are left to wait on Nigeria’s result against Ghana to know their fate.
