Herrera signs 5-year deal with Phillies

The Phillies have signed center fielder Odubel Herrera to a five-year contract through the 2021 season, Vice President & General Manager Matt Klentak announced. The deal also includes club options for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Herrera, 24, batted .286 this past season with 21 doubles, six triples, 15 home runs, 87 runs scored and 25 stolen bases while also being selected to the National League All-Star team. He …
