Volleyball stars shake off the cold with start of Snow Tour set to begin in 2017

Lausanne, Switzerland, December 14, 2016 – As temperatures continue to drop in the northern hemisphere, volleyball players are not letting the changing of the seasons deny them the chance to play their favourite sport.
In Europe the CEV Snow Volleyball Tour is set to make six stops at parts of Europe more famous for skiing and other snow-bound pursuits.
It is the second year in a row that the European confederation is organising such an event, which starts at the end of February in Spindleruv Mlyn in the Czech Republic. Disentis in the Swiss Alps, Kranjska Gora in Slovenia and the Snow Volleyball’s spiritual home of Wagrain-Kleinarl in Austria follow in March. Malbun in Liechtenstein and Kronplatz/Plan de Corones in Italy then complete the Tour in April.
