UFC Fight Night 102 Medical Suspensions: Gian Villante, 5 Others Sidelined Indefinitely

Gian Villante and five other fighters have received indefinite layoffs following UFC Fight Night 102.The New York State Athletic Commission on Wednesday released a list of medical suspensions from the event, which took place at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. on Dec. 9. The evening’s headliner saw Derrick Lewis defeat Shamil Abdurakhimov via fourth round technical knockout in a heavyweight clash. Villante will need clearance from the NYSAC following his victory over Saparbek Safarov in a light heavyweight duel.
