Report: Uehara agrees to 1-year deal with Cubs

CHICAGO — The Cubs wanted to stock the bullpen with pitchers who could handle left-handed hitters, and they have reportedly signed Koji Uehara to do so. Multiple reports on Wednesday indicated the Cubs have signed Uehara to a one-year contract for $6 million. The club has not confirmed.
