Syracuse Women’s Basketball Routs Coppin State

No. 20 Syracuse improved to 7-3 on the season with a routing of Coppin State. The Orange are now on a three-game win streak.
It got late really early at the Dome this afternoon for Coppin State (0-8). No. 20 Syracuse (7-3) came out the gate ready to play, taking a 24-point lead in the first quarter in route to a 70-36 win. The Orange extended their winning streak to three games. This comes after they had endured a stretch of losing three of four.
“I thought we came out pretty strong,” head coach Quentin Hillsman said. “That was important for us. I didn’t want to come out and be stagnant. I was impressed with the effort.”
