Indians schedule Tribe Fest ’17 for Jan. 28
- Updated: December 7, 2016
NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — Each winter when Tribe Fest arrives, Indians fans know that another season is right around the corner. Cleveland’s followers can now mark their calendars and begin counting down the day’s until the team’s marquee offseason event.
On Wednesday, the American League-champion Indians announced that Tribe Fest 2017 will be held from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. ET on Jan. 28 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Cleveland. The hotel is located roughly four miles east of Progressive Field near the Cleveland Clinic campus.

Cleveland held Tribe Fest at a downtown hotel last winter, but opted to switch locations after listening to feedback from fans who attended. The Intercontinental provides a larger venue to accommodate more fans and includes ample parking.
The current roster of players scheduled to appear at the fifth annual Tribe Fest include ace Corey Kluber, closer Cody Allen, relief wizard Andrew Miller, starters Carlos Carrasco and Josh Tomlin, catcher Roberto Perez, third baseman Jose Ramirez, reliever Zach McAllister and outfielder Abraham Almonte. More players, coaches, alumni and executives will also be on hand. …
