Celtic charged by UEFA

UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings against Celtic after there were crowd disturbances and fireworks set off by fans in their meeting with Manchester City.
Fighting broke out among supporters at the Etihad with less than 20 minutes remaining of the Champions League Group C tie, which eventually finished 1-1, in the lower tier of the home section closest to the away fans.
The case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on February 23 next year.
