Groves confirms WBA title shot

George Groves has confirmed he will fight Fedor Chudinov for the vacant WBA ‘super’ world super-middleweight title.
Groves will bid to win a world title at the fourth attempt when he tackles the big-hitting Russian.
“CONFIRMED. I fight Chudinov for the @WBABoxing super super-middleweight championship of the world!” tweeted the Londoner on Wednesday morning.
Groves’ promoters Sauerland added on Twitter that negotiations over a venue and date for the 168lbs showdown will continue until January 5, 2017.
