MVP Villa rules out PL move

New York City striker David Villa told SSNHQ the Premier League is not on his radar after being named Major League Soccer’s MVP for 2016.
The 35-year-old Spaniard beat off competition from former Manchester City forward and current team-mate Bradley Wright-Phillips and Toronto FC’s Sebastian Giovinco.
Villa, also a World Cup winner with Spain in 2010, was rewarded after shining with 23 goals in his second season at New York. His efforts also helped his team make the play-offs for the first time.
The former Barcelona and Atletico Madrid star was delighted to scoop the award and was asked about the prospects of seeing him play in England.
