KyndallDykes American Shooting guard Kyndall Dykes (192-SG-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked UBT Cluj Napoca, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.The 29-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Dinamo B. (#10, 2-8) with 19-point margin 84-65. It allowed UBT Cluj Napoca to consolidate first place in the Romanian Liga Nationala. UBT Cluj Napoca has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. In the team’s last game Dykes had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It’s his second year at UBT Cluj Napoca and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Former University of New Orleans star has very solid stats this year. Dykes is in league’s top in points (5th best: 17.7ppg) and averages impressive 69.7% FGP and 48.6% from behind 3-point line. Worth to mention Dykes played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.The second best player in last round’s games was 28-year old Bulgarian Pavel Marinov (199-SF-88, agency: Interperformances) of Pitesti.
