Former World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada became an online poker champion again this weekend when he triumphed in the $215 Sunday Warm-Up at PokerStars
Canadian Cada topped a field of 1,917 entries in the Sunday Warm-Up, eventually defeating “elementx8” heads-up to boost his bankroll by an impressive $57,441.39.
The largest score online this weekend went to Ireland’s “myleftfoot33” courtesy of winning the Sunday Million. The Irish grinder turned $215 into $148,934.52 by outlasting 5,234 opponents. Five of the nine finalists hailed from either the United Kingdom or Ireland, including runner-up “donkey310” who collected $104,515.09.
