Wycombe, Doncaster duo make list

A duo from both Wycombe Wanderers and Doncaster Rovers are in the running to be November’s Sky Bet League Two Player and Manager of the Month.
It has been a stunning month for Wycombe having endured a stuttering opening three months to the campaign. They hit back with four successive wins last month, conceding just one goal and jumping from 21st to sixth in the table.
Their 23-year-old central defender Aaron Pierre has been rewarded for his fine form by making the shortlist for the monthly award, helping his team to three clean sheets and producing two assists and scoring a late winner at Cambridge.
The club could have panicked but they stuck with their boss Gareth Ainsworth and he is on the list of four who are up for the managerial gong for November.
