Martin, Osuna and Stroman to play in WBC

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — The Blue Jays will have at least three players participating in next spring’s World Baseball Classic, with Russell Martin, Roberto Osuna and Marcus Stroman among the confirmed participants.
Stroman previously announced his intention to pitch for Team USA in the March 9-22 tournament. Major League Baseball then confirmed in an official release Monday afternoon that Martin will suit up for Team Canada and Osuna will represent Team Mexico.
