McQueen signs new Saints deal

Southampton winger Sam McQueen has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract with the club.
The new deal keeps the 21-year-old, who made his Premier League debut in a 3-1 win against Burnley in October, at St Mary’s until 2021.
McQueen joined Saints at the age of eight, and came through the club’s famed Academy. He made his debut in February 2014 before spending time out on loan at Southend United, but he is now part of boss Claude Puel’s plans.
McQueen said: “It feels really good, as you’d expect. I’m delighted to sign a new deal with the club, having been here for so long already.
