Callum Smith is expecting to face James DeGale in an all-British world title fight in 2017.
Smith is tipping the IBF super-middleweight champion to win a unification scrap with WBC holder Badou Jack in New York on January 14.
The youngest of the four famous boxing brothers is the confirmed mandatory challenger to the WBC champion but he is leaning towards his compatriot to bring both belts back and set up an brilliant all-British battle next year.
He told Sky Sports News HQ: “They’re both very good fighters, both world champions and both deserve to be there.
“I think if you go on recent performances you could say it’s a 50-50, but I think if the both fighters turn up at their best, DeGale should have that little bit more – I fancy him to win.”
