Sweden – Kjellbom number one in Sweden for round 13

JoakimKjellbom Former international Center Joakim Kjellbom (212-C-79) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Norrkoping Dolphins, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13.The 37-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Boras (#5, 6-5) 81-70. Norrkoping is placed at 3rd position in Swedish Basketligan. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Norrkoping will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. Kjellbom has many years of experience at Norrkoping, through which he has constantly improved. Former Northern Arizona University star has very solid stats this year. Kjellbom is in league’s top in rebounds (2nd best: 8.3rpg) and averages impressive 2.5bpg and 60.2% FGP.The second best player in last round’s games was 28-year old American George Valentine (203-F-88, agency: Mansfield and Associates) of Umea.
