Westbrook 1st Player Since Michael Jordan with 5 Straight Triple-Doubles

Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook dropped 28 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists in Sunday’s 101-92 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
In doing so, he emerged as the first player to post five straight triple-doubles since Michael Jordan did so in 1989, per ESPN Stats & Info. Jordan added two more to his streak and finished with seven consecutive.
Westbrook is one of just four players to reach such an achievement—joining all-time greats such as Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson.
