Mets narrow Winter Meetings focus to dealing OF
- Updated: December 5, 2016
NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — The Mets’ signing of Yoenis Cespedes last week may have rejiggered their offseason plan, but it shouldn’t make their presence at the Winter Meetings any less intriguing. Rather than spend all their time entertaining Cespedes’ agent, Brodie Van Wagenen, the Mets will simply pivot to the next item on their agenda: a trade of Jay Bruce.
MLB.com and MLB Network will have wall-to-wall coverage of the 2016 Winter Meetings from the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center outside Washington, D.C. Fans can watch live streaming of all news conferences and manager availability on MLB.com, including the Rule 5 Draft on Thursday at 9 a.m. ET.
