Alfred Dunhill Championship 2016: Final Leaderboard Scores, Prize Money Payouts

Local hero Brandon Stone completed his fantastic run through the 2016 Alfred Dunhill Championship on Sunday, finishing with a round of five-under 67 to grab the title.

The 23-year-old entered the final day with a healthy lead and once again led the way with his putter. His score of five under was the third-best of the day, and no one inside the top 10 did better.

Richard Sterne finished seven shots behind Stone, while Belgium’s Thomas Detry battled his way onto the podium with a round of four under. Here’s a look at the final leaderboard, per the European Tour’s official Twitter account:

Stone entered the final round in the best form of his life, playing some stunning golf. He was the clear favourite for the title going into Sunday, and his win was never in danger over the course of the final 18 holes.
