Stroman intends to pitch for USA in Classic

Blue Jays right-hander Marcus Stroman announced on Saturday that he plans to pitch for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic.
Stroman, who was eligible to pitch for the United States or Puerto Rico, told reporters on Friday at the David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic that he intended to pitch in the tournament but didn’t say for which team.
