Real Madrid grabbed a late equaliser in El Clasico, as Sergio Ramos’ header earned a 1-1 draw at Barcelona in La Liga.

The Los Blancos captain silenced the Camp Nou contingent as he helped Madrid extend their unbeaten start to the league campaign. 

The match was a tepid affair compared to previous editions between Spain’s mighty clubs, with the drama reserved for the 90th minute.

Luis Suarez wasted a plethora of chances to claim victory in the second half, but Real proved their endeavour to steal a result.

Granada produced a huge shock as they defeated high-flying Sevilla 2-1 at the Estadio Los Carmenes.

The victory enabled the Andalusia club to climb off the bottom of the table, posting their first league win of the season.

There were two goalless matches on Saturday, as Atletico Madrid drew against Espanyol at the Vicente Calderon Stadium, and with Leganes and Villarreal unable to be divided.
