Champ: Brighton held, Fulham hit five

Brighton missed the chance to go top of the Sky Bet Championship and finished the game with 10 men as they were held to a goalless draw at Cardiff, while Norwich and Fulham both hit five.
The Seagulls would have climbed into pole position with victory following Newcastle’s 2-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest on Friday night.
However, while Chris Hughton’s side extended their unbeaten league run to 11 matches, the point was not enough and defender Gaetan Bong was dismissed in stoppage time for his second yellow card to make matters worse.
Third-placed Reading also failed to make up ground on the leaders as they slipped to their heaviest defeat of the season, losing 5-0 at Fulham.
Fulham led 1-0 at half-time courtesy of Chris Gunter’s headed own goal and Chris Martin struck early in the second period before Reading defender Danny Williams was shown a straight red card following an altercation with StefanJohansen.
