Warriors: MRI on Curry’s ankle not concerning

Amid a mild panic about Stephen Curry’s “tweaked” ankle,” the Golden State Warriors released a “non-update” update on Curry, with the most important news being that an MRI showed nothing of concern. From the Warriors:
“Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who tweaked his right ankle during Saturday’s Game 1 versus Houston and missed last night’s Game 2 against the Rockets, underwent an MRI this afternoon in the Bay Area. The MRI did not reveal anything of concern and Curry is expected to continue treatment in preparation for Thursday’s Game 3 in Houston. He is listed as questionable.”
What that release does not indicate is what exactly is wrong with Curry. An ankle “tweak” is not a medical term, though the team is certainly using it as such. That lack of specificity was further complicated by how Steve Kerr described the injury Monday before the Warriors’ Game 2 win over the Houston …
