Twins clear spot for top pick in Rule 5 Draft

MINNEAPOLIS — The Twins tendered contracts to all five of their arbitration-eligible players before Friday’s deadline, but they cleared a spot on their 40-man roster ahead of next week’s Winter Meetings by non-tendering Minor League right-hander Yorman Landa.
Beginning Monday, MLB.com and MLB Network will have wall-to-wall coverage of the 2016 Winter Meetings from the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center outside Washington, D.C. Fans can watch live streaming of all news conferences and manager availability on MLB.com, including the Rule 5 Draft on Thursday at 9 a.m. ET. The Twins have the No. 1 pick.
