Hamilton not surprised by Rosberg retirement

Lewis Hamilton says he is probably one of the few people who wasn’t surprised by Nico Rosberg’s shock retirement announcement.
Hamilton and Rosberg have been rivals since their karting days as teenagers, and if Hamilton was taken aback by the news that their time together in motorsport and as Mercedes team-mates was coming to an end, he certainly didn’t show it.
“I’m probably one of the only people that it was not a surprise to,” the Brit said at the FIA Prize Giving in Vienna.
