Sources: Springer on US provisional roster for WBC

George Springer is on the United States’ provisional roster for the 2017 World Baseball Classic, sources told MLB.com’s Jon Paul Morosi on Friday, and the Astros’ right fielder is reportedly strongly considering playing.
Springer told MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart this week that he was unsure whether he would play in the tournament.
