Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp shut down rumours linking striker Daniel Sturridge with a move away from Anfield in January ahead of the Reds’ Sunday Premier League trip to Bournemouth.
Per David Maddock in the Mirror, West Ham United have been linked with a move for Sturridge in the new year and the Englishman’s lack of first-team action this season has added fuel to the fire—he has only started four Premier League games in 2016-17.
However, Klopp has denied the links and indicated there is no intention for Liverpool to sell any key players when the January transfer window opens, per the Liverpool Echo’s James Pearce:
