Vertonghen pens Spurs deal

Tottenham centre-back Jan Vertonghen has signed an improved three-year contract to remain at the club until 2019.
The Belgium international joined Spurs in 2012 from Ajax and has made 179 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Vertonghen is the latest Tottenham player to pen fresh terms at White Hart Lane and follows Harry Kane who signed a new six-year deal on Thursday.
