Mets’ deGrom slated to return to mound Sunday

PHILADELPHIA — Jacob deGrom is due to return to the New York Mets rotation on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field.
DeGrom missed two rotation turns after making his season debut April 8. He has been with his family for the past nine days, since his son was born with what manager Terry Collins labeled “complications.”
