After going through the qualifications and saving a match point against Aljaz Bedene in the first round, Russian teenager Karen Khachanov delivered his biggest victory today, beating 5th seed Roberto Bautista Agut in 3 sets. Khachanov displayed very good tennis in the most of the match, dominating with his huge forehand and well-balanced game in general against Spaniard who was the clear favorite. Karen celebrated by 6-2 6-7 6-3 in the end, just when it seemed that he will not be able to pull another good set after losing the second in which he served for the match. Hard-hitting Russian faced only 5 break points and saved 3 of those and he created 9 chances on return, breaking world number 17 5 times for more than deserved victory.
