Phil Thompson has assessed the credentials of title favourites Manchester City and Chelsea ahead of Saturday’s clash, live on Sky Sports 1 HD.
The teams meet at the Etihad Stadium at 12.30pm in what looks set to be a pivotal affair in the title race with the pair considered favourites for the Premier League title.

Main strength: Attacking weaponry
Manchester City’s title hopes are going to come down to how many goals Sergio Aguero’s supporting cast can score. Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling’s goals seem to have dried up of late but you’d assume they’ll come good.
The return of Yaya Toure gives them another fantastic option. He looks fresh and more energetic than he has before, which is a huge boost for them.
