Westbrook Breaks Franchise Record for Assists in Single Month

Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook broke the franchise record for assists in a month during November, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN.com).
By dishing out 11 assists Wednesday in a 126-115 win over the Washington Wizards, Westbrook totaled 190 assists for the month. The total easily surpassed Gary Payton’s franchise record when they were the Seattle Supersonics in April 1999. However, “The Glove” required 18 games to hit his total, while Westbrook did it in 17.
