Latest on Paul’s Contract Status Thursday, Dec. 1
According to ESPN.com’s Zach Lowe, it is expected that CP3 will demand a full, five-year max contract to remain with the Clips.
Per Spotrac, there is an early-termination clause in Paul’s contract that will allow him to hit the open market during the offseason if he and the Clippers don’t strike a deal before then.
The 31-year-old veteran is in the midst of another strong season with per-game averages of 17.9 points, 8.8 assists and 5.2 rebounds.
