Former teams have eyes on Napoli It appears that wherever Mike Napoli brings the party this offseason, it’ll be a reunion.

MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reports of several clubs interested in the free-agent slugger, and all have employed Napoli in the past. The Red Sox, Indians and Rangers all have interest, according to Heyman. Napoli has played for four teams (the Angels are the other one) in his 11-year career, and has made the postseason eight times.

Napoli is coming off one of the most productive seasons of his career. He set career highs in runs (92), homers (35), RBIs (101) and total bases (259) — and strikeouts (194) — at age 34 this past season for the American League-champion Indians, and teammates revered him for his strong clubhouse presence.

The three interested teams are all looking to replace power bats. The Red Sox have to a Big Papi-sized hole in their still-formidable lineup. The Rangers lost Prince Fielder to injury and Carlos Beltran to free agency, while the Indians could use Napoli’s bat back to again provide much-needed thump.

Pirates eyeing Nats’ Robles in McCutchen talks The Pirates are interested in Nationals Minor League outfielder Victor Robles, who Pittsburgh would want to be part of a package deal in exchange for outfielder Andrew McCutchen, sources told FoxSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal.

Robles was a part of trade negotiations between the Nationals and Pirates in July that would have sent McCutchen to Washington, but the two sides were unable to strike a deal.

Robles, 19, is the Nationals’ No. 2 overall prospect as ranked by MLBPipeline.com. He hit .280 with nine home runs and 42 RBIs in 110 games split between the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League, Class A Hagerstown and Class A Advanced Potomac.

Granderson receiving more trade interest than Bruce The Mets are shopping Curtis Grandson and Jay Bruce, but Granderson has received more interest on the trade market thus far, a source told Newsday’s Marc Carig.

Carig reports that the Mets are hoping to trade one of the two after re-signing Yoenis Cespedes to a four-year, $110 million deal on Tuesday.

MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo reports that the Mets received calls on both outfielders on Tuesday and prefer to trade Bruce, in part because they see Granderson as a key component of their future plans in center field.

ESPN’s Jerry Crasick reported that the Blue Jays are one of the clubs showing interest in Bruce, who hit .219 with eight home runs and 19 RBIs in 50 games with the Mets last season after being acquired from the Reds at the Trade Deadline. Multiple clubs are interested in both players, according to Carig.

Granderson has hit .241 with 76 home runs and 195 RBIs in 462 games with the Mets over the past three seasons.

Bruce is set to earn $13 million in 2017 while Granderson is owed $15 million.
