Manchester City Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Julian Weigl and Kasper Dolberg

Manchester City are reportedly interested in Borussia Dortmund star Julian Weigl and could be set to offer him four times his current salary in order to land him.
That’s according to German outlet Bild (h/t Alex Porter of the Manchester Evening News), with Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan also in pursuit.
The 21-year-old signed for BVB last year and has rapidly established himself as a key player for the Bundesliga outfit, as DW Sports’ Stefan Bienkowski noted:

Weigl typically plays in front of the back four and acts as a deep-lying playmaker for Dortmund. He reads the game well for a player of his age, makes use of his exceptional distribution to help build play from the back, recycles possession and knits play together in midfield.
