Gruden ‘surprised’ Hackenberg isn’t first-rounder

Take it with a grain of salt, because we’re talking about Jon Gruden here, but the ESPN Monday Night Football analyst, quarterback guru and former Super Bowl winner thinks there should be another name mentioned with the top quarterbacks.
Specifically: Christian Hackenberg, the Penn State product who drives analysts mad trying to figure out whether or not he can succeed at the next level.
Hackenberg has the look of a first-round quarterback but too often he makes the throws of an undrafted free agent. Gruden believes what Hackenberg showed his freshman year at Penn State is enough to warrant using a first-round pick on him.
