Agent: ‘Nothing imminent’ on Encarnacion

Edwin Encarnacion is not yet close to signing a new contract, the free agent slugger’s agent told MLB.com’s Jon Paul Morosi on Wednesday.
Paul Kinzer, Encarnacion’s agent, told Morosi that there is “nothing imminent” for his client, although Encarnacion has multiple offers on the table with multiple teams involved.
