Darrelle Revis Reportedly Doesn’t Want to Play Football Anymore

In the midst of one of his worst seasons in his NFL career, New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is reportedly contemplating his future.
The New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta spoke to a source who said Revis is already beginning to look toward retirement: “He’s done. If he had his way, he’d be done right now. He doesn’t want to play anymore. He’s made a lot of money.”
Once considered one the game’s best corners, Revis’ decline has been abrupt in 2016. It began when Cincinnati Bengals wideout A.J. Green caught 12 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown in a 23-22 win. Revis’ performance hasn’t improved much since, with USA Today’s Nate Davis floating the idea of a move to safety.
