Sources close to the Venezuelan Baseball Federation and MLB have confirmed that Team Venezuela is replacing manager Omar Vizquel with Eddie Perez for the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
Although the Federation has not publicly confirmed the decision to change managers, Efrain Ruiz of MLB.com’s Spanish-language site, LasMayores.com, reports that MLB has been notified of the decision.
