We’ve seen Tony Bellew get into verbal altercations before, but what was a surprise was David’s reaction, which told me that Tony had got under his skin. We have never seen David Haye ever react like that.
One time we did a Ringside show with David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko and David didn’t want to be in the same studio as Wladimir, because David is cool, he doesn’t want to get into that verbal confrontation. But I think Tony got under David’s skin and he got to the point where he was ranting and ranting and ranting.
If I was Tony I would have done exactly what he did today, which was get to David and make him dance to my tune, fight my fight, and get into my argument, because that’s what I’m used to.
If I was David, I would be my normal cool David self and be laid back …
