Rays unlikely to non-tender any players

ST. PETERSBURG — The Rays should be busy as Major League Baseball’s deadline to tender contracts to arbitration-eligible players approaches, but it’s not likely there will be much drama.
Friday at 11:59 p.m. ET is the deadline, and the following Tampa Bay players (with their 2016 salary) are eligible:
Alex Cobb ($4 million), Drew Smyly ($3.75 million), Erasmo Ramirez ($2.37 million), Brad Miller ($527,000), Jake Odorizzi ($520,700), Brad Boxberger ($519,200), Xavier Cedeno ($524,000) and Corey Dickerson ($522,900).
