Cards make changes to medical staff

ST. LOUIS — Dr. George Paletta Jr., who served as the Cardinals’ medical director and head team physician from 1998-2013, will return as the organization’s head orthopedic physician in ’17, the Cardinals announced on Tuesday.
Also returning to the medical staff is orthopedist Lyndon Gross, who, like Paletta, was let go when the Cardinals turned their player medical care over to Mercy Sports Medicine before the 2014 …
