- Updated: November 29, 2016
Liverpool and Hull City became the first teams to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2016-17 EFL Cup, winning their quarter-final matches on Tuesday.
Divock Origi gave the Reds the lead in their win over Leeds, and Ben Woodburn put the final score on the board, becoming the youngest scorer in a competitive match in Liverpool history, per BBC Sport.
In Hull, the Tigers needed penalties to overcome Newcastle United.
