Jessica Ennis-Hill to win third world gold after Russian Tatyana Chernova stripped of title

Jessica Ennis-Hill will become a three-time world heptathlon champion after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled that Russia’s Tatyana Chernova would be stripped of the 2011 World Championship gold having committed blood doping offences.
Chernova beat Ennis-Hill in Daegu five years ago, but was banned from the sport in 2013 after a reanalysed urine sample from 2009 returned positive.
