Phils extend radio play-by-play man Franzke

PHILADELPHIA — The Phillies put the finishing touches on their radio broadcast team Monday.
The TV broadcast team, which could include John Kruk, figures to be next.
The Phillies announced they had agreed to a five-year extension with radio play-by-play announcer Scott Franzke, carrying him through the 2021 season. Larry Andersen and Jim Jackson will be in the booth with him again next year.
“We couldn’t be happier to extend our relationship with Scott,” Phillies senior vice president of marketing and advertising sales David Buck said in a statement. “He and Larry Andersen have been entertaining Phillies fans for over a decade and will continue to do so for the …
