Robert Whittaker electrified thousands of his hometown fans in the UFC Fight Night 101 main event on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia, as he survived a barrage of punches to knock out Derek Brunson. Whittaker finished it 4:07 into Round 1, capping a solid night of fights, most of which went the distance. Whittaker strolled to the Octagon to “Can’t Be Touched,” from boxing legend Roy Jones Jr., though the song choice did not exactly replicate how he performed. “The Reaper” was rocked early, but when Brunson decided to enter into a wild exchange while leading with his face, Whittaker closed the show.
