Philippe Coutinho Injury: Liverpool Star Ruled out 5-6 Weeks with Ankle Injury

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has been ruled out of action for five-to-six weeks with an ankle injury after a scan on Monday revealed the extent of the knock he picked up against Sunderland.
The Brazilian had to be stretchered off during Liverpool’s 2-0 Premier League win against the Black Cats on Saturday after a clash with midfielder Didier Ndong and was seen leaving the Reds’ Melwood training base on Sunday on crutches and with his right ankle in a medical boot, per BBC Sport’s Phil McNulty.
