Villa keen on restoring lost pride

Pride will be at stake for Uganda’s SC Villa when they face FUS Rabat in the second leg of the 1/8th round after suffering a humiliating 7-0 loss in the first leg two weeks ago in Rabat.
With little hopes of overturning the seven-goal deficit, the 16-time Uganda champions will seek to restore their lost pride in front of their fans at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
Eliminating FUS Rabat will probably rank the greatest comeback in African football history, and will make the headlines globally. And for a side that scored 22 goals against Akol FC in a Uganda Premier League match in 2003, the target remains achievable.
However, FUS Rabat coach Hoalid Regragui is the least perturbed by the record-breaking feat of Villa 13-years ago, insisting they are ready for the Kampala challenge.
