OladapoAyuba An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Djurgarden. Leader Djurgarden faced 3rd placed LF Future. Host Djurgarden (8-0) smashed guests from Lulea (6-2) 103-82. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of LF Future. The game without a history. Djurgarden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future’s 26. Djurgarden looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was British-Nigerian Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC) who scored 32 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Brandon Barton (192-88) chipped in 23 points. Guard Erik Edin (185-91) produced 28 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Djurgarden have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Newly promoted Djurgarden maintains first place with 8-0 record. LF Future at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Djurgarden are looking forward to face league’s second-placed AIK in Solna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LF Future will have a break next round.
